Hain Celestial to create 65 new jobs in Norfolk

07 November 2007

The Hain Celestial, Group, Inc., a leading natural and organic food and personal care products company, and owner of the Fakenham facility, which produces the Linda McCartney® and other meat-alternative products, is to create at least 65 new jobs in the area - doubling the number of production staff at the factory in the process.

The 65 new positions will be focused within production at the factory which produces Linda McCartney meat-free meals, and will be available in both four and eight hour shifts, meaning a maximum of 130 new people can be recruited.

Since acquiring the Linda McCartney brand in 2006, Hain Celestial has relaunched the range with new and improved recipes, new lines and more sophisticated packaging. The announcement of new jobs is testament to the ongoing success of the re-launch as Hain Celestial continues to develop the meat-free market in the UK.

Graham Trevor, Head of HR for Hain Celestial UK comments, “The fact that we have been able to create these new positions is great news for the local economy, and demonstrates our commitment to Fakenham. It also reflects our confidence in the future of the Linda McCartney brand.”
